Sewing has always been part of my life. I grew up in a family sewing business, so I was surrounded by fabric, patterns, and sewing machines from an early age. Before I was even a teenager, I was already teaching sewing and learning the importance of patience, precision, and taking pride in your work.
Over the years, that early foundation grew into more than 25 years of hands-on experience. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from the Illinois Institute of Art, which helped me deepen my technical skills and understanding of garment construction. From there, I went on to work in the industry in Los Angeles, Chicago, Milwaukee, and Marquette, where I continued to refine advanced alteration techniques.
Today, I bring together family tradition, formal education, and real-world experience in every project I take on. I truly enjoy helping garments fit and feel their best, and I treat each piece with the same care and attention I’d give my own.
